Coming next

A publication for the operational transition to post-quantum cryptography, covering standards, migration, and what implementation actually looks like for security and compliance leaders.
In development, we're building our contributor network now.
Signal&Noise Media exists because emerging security categories move faster than coverage can responsibly keep up. Vendor noise is high, standards are still forming, and the people making real decisions need interpretation they can trust, not another announcement to parse.
We start with one question for every story: what changed, what is actually true, and what should a security leader do next. The Agent Perimeter, launching January 2027, is our first title, answering that question for the control plane for autonomous action. Others, including The Quantum Line, will follow as each one meets The Standard.
The Standard is what every title has to earn before it launches, and keep earning after. No sponsor receives favorable coverage, story approval, or subscriber data access, and that boundary does not move. Claims involving cryptography, compliance, or standards route through technical review before publishing. Corrections are appended in place, timestamped, and labeled, never quietly edited away.
Contributed work follows the same rule: real practitioner experience, employer and role disclosed in the byline, and a piece that stands on its own without being built around a product. Nothing runs without an editing pass. Every story carries a label so you always know what you're reading.
We're building a small group of founding sponsors across both titles. Sponsorship never buys coverage, story approval, or subscriber data access, that boundary is fixed and applies to every sponsor relationship. What's available at this stage: a clearly labeled launch sponsorship, recurring newsletter sponsorship, or a sponsored research briefing, always visibly marked as sponsored. We're prioritizing identity and non-human identity vendors, AI security and governance platforms, PKI and crypto-agility vendors, and specialist advisory firms serving security leaders.
Become a founding sponsorSignal&Noise Media is founder-led and independently owned, built by editors and practitioners who have spent their careers inside security programs rather than around them.
During pre-launch, the work is deliberately narrow: define the editorial standard, recruit contributors who can defend their claims, and talk to the security leaders each title is written for.
